1. DYREHAVEN
We love the city, but sometimes we just need to ... breathe! And we like to do so in the wonderful “Dyrehaven”, just north of Copenhagen, where wildlife, breathtaking scenery and the historical Hermitage Castle blends into an all time favorite outdoor experience for us.
2. THE SIX FORGOTTEN GIANTS
“Did you just say troll hunting?” Yes we did, and we think it’s a perfect way to combine an outdoor field trip with fun, art and nature. “The Six Forgotten Giants” in 2017, and this internationally acknowledged project has been a great way to discover the wonders of nature in the regions of Copenhagen.
3. FREDERIKSBERG HAVE
Frederiksberg Have (garden) is a green oasis in the middle of the modern neighborhood, Frederiksberg. The garden is located around the Frederiksberg Castle, which makes it an excellent place to go for a walk, a run or just hang out in the sun.
4. ØSTRE ANLÆG
Østre Anlæg is a beautiful park in between Østerbro and the inner city. Go to Østre Anlæg for a walk, a family trip, a run or anything else. It is a wonderful oasis in the heart of Copenhagen. You can go there on a family trip, go there for a run, walk or just hang out in the nice and quiet areas in the park.
5. AMAGER FÆLLED
Do you want to clear your mind, get some fresh air, but still want to be in the middle of the city? Then the Amager Fælled is a must to visit for you, and a perfect place for a slow walk, a mindful run or a great familiar field trip to the two popular playgrounds in the park.
